MCAJ Enters St. Mary

For all of her 69 years of existence as the MCAJ the entire North Eastern section of Jamaica has not been infiltrated.  That drought came to an end on Sunday December 2, 2018 with the first worship service of the Church Planting Mission at Spicy Grove, Oracabessa, St. Mary.  Representatives from six MCAJ churches gathered alongside residents for the epic moment.  It was like heaven came down and glory filled their souls!!! They are pictured below.

The mission will be spearheaded by the Missions and Evangelism Department in collaboration with the Eastern Region of the MCAJ.  Grace-Ann Taylor Myers, of Portmore Missionary and her husband Pastor Danny Myers have been ministering in that community through the Spicy Grove Youth Center, and out of that ministry emerged the need for a church to serve the community in a more direct and incarnational manner.  The MCAJ rejoices for their choice of us as partners in this effort.  We look forward to this “Ray of Hope” and the formation of another branch church of the MCAJ.
